Privacy Policy

Caffeinity is built to work with the network switched off. This page explains, plainly, what data the app touches, where it lives, and what — if anything — leaves your device.

The short version

• Your coffee log, bags, and settings are stored on your device. They are not required to be sent anywhere for the app to work.
• You don't need an account to use Caffeinity.
• We don't run ads, and we don't sell or broker your data.
• Two third-party services are used to run the app: analytics and subscription billing. Both are described below.

Data stored on your device

Caffeinity stores your brew log, bean inventory, budget, and app settings locally on your device using standard iOS storage. This data is yours; you can export it or delete the app to remove it entirely.

Analytics

Caffeinity uses Firebase Analytics (Google) to understand aggregate, anonymized usage of the app — for example, which screens are used and how often the app is opened. This helps us fix bugs and prioritize features. Analytics data is not linked to your name or email, and your brew log, bean data, and personal notes are never sent to analytics.

Subscriptions

If you choose to subscribe to Caffeinity Pro, the purchase is handled by Apple's App Store and processed through RevenueCat, a subscription management service. RevenueCat receives the information necessary to validate and manage your subscription (such as a device identifier and purchase status). Caffeinity does not receive or store your payment details — those are handled entirely by Apple.

Device information

The app reads basic, non-identifying device information (such as OS version and device model) to help diagnose issues and support older devices. This is not used to track you across apps or websites.

What we don't do

• We don't require an account or collect your name, email, or contacts to use the app.
• We don't run advertising or ad-tracking SDKs.
• We don't sell, rent, or broker your data to third parties.
• We don't access your camera, location, or contacts — Caffeinity doesn't ask for those permissions.

Data retention and deletion

Your log data stays on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app. If your subscription lapses, your history is never deleted — only Pro-only features are hidden. To remove analytics and subscription records associated with your device, contact us using the details below.

Children's privacy

Caffeinity is not directed at children and is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a material way, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
